Refund Policy

The short version
If a digital product you bought from us is unusable or clearly not what we described, tell us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you. No forms, no hoops.
What this covers
This policy applies to digital downloads sold by The Rooted Almanac — printable PDF packs such as The One-Bed Garden Starter Pack. It does not cover products or services sold by other companies we link to (for example, items bought through affiliate links), which are governed by those sellers’ own policies.
When we refund
We will refund your purchase within 14 days if:
- The files are unusable — they will not download, will not open in a standard PDF reader, or are corrupted, and we cannot get a working copy to you.
- The product is not as described — what you received is materially different from what the product page promised (for example, missing worksheets or formats that were listed as included).
Because these are digital files that cannot be “returned,” we ask that you give us a chance to fix delivery problems first — most download issues are solved in one reply. If we cannot make it right, you get your money back.
What we don’t promise
We do not offer refunds simply because gardening outcomes vary — the pack is a planning and record-keeping system, and no worksheet can guarantee a harvest. We would rather be upfront about that here than make a guarantee no honest gardener could make. How to request a refund
Contact us through the contact form on this site within 14 days of purchase. Include roughly when you bought the pack and the email address you used at checkout so we can locate the order with the payment processor. We aim to respond within a few business days, and approved refunds are returned to your original payment method by the checkout provider.
Payment processing
Purchases are processed by an external checkout provider; we never see or store your card details. Refunds are issued through that same provider, and the time for the money to reach your account depends on your bank or card issuer (typically 5–10 business days).
